WILPF around the world
There are WILPF groups in 46 countries, all working towards the same goals:
- an end to war, violence and coercion
- peaceful negotiated solutions to conflicts
- universal disarmament and the diversion of resources away from armed forces and weapons to meeting human needs
- the elimination of all forms of inequality, oppression, discrimination and exploitation
- the establishment of an international economic order based on meeting the needs of people, not on privilege and profit
- environmentally and socially sustainable development
- reform and strengthening of the United Nations to assist with achieving the above goals.
International WILPF has consultative status at the UN, and this ensures women’s
voices for peace are heard at that level.

Are you 35 or under? Young WILPF (Y-WILPF) is here for you
There is an international Young WILPF Network, and a Young WILPF group in Australia.
The Young WILPF Network provides a space for women under the age of 35 to network, organise and advance the goals of WILPF within the younger generation. Y-WILPF aims to empower young women to work for peace through international co-operation and sharing the common goals of gender equality, peace and disarmament.
Any paid WILPF member can join the Young WILPF Network (not a member yet? Join here). And if you live in a country where WILPF has a Section of Group, you can also establish your national Young WILPF Network to grow the WILPF movement at home.
